Wonderful restaurant in Florence in a little street off the Duomo. What a lucky find for us as we loved our dinner, the helpful waiters and the atmosphere. If you are hesitating, do yourself a favour and go! The bread was light and soft which was such a nice surprise compared to other restaurants which had really dry and unappetising bread. We were able to dip it in the extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar that was on the table. Again, not all restaurants give you the balsamic vinegar with the olive oil - such a treat! Yummy start while waiting for our order. The steak was delicious and cooked just the way we liked it. We originally asked for medium and then realised we had not been clear that we liked our steak pink, just a tad more cooked than medium. Not a problem, as they graciously cooked it a little more for us. The waiters were so friendly and helpful and we both really appreciated their kindness, helpfulness and friendliness. We also really enjoyed the sides that we ordered, which were the grilled vegetables and eggplant parmigiana (yummo!). Again, tasty and delicious. We ordered the Tiramisu dessert to share as were both quite full. It was smooth and creamy and not too sweet. A very pleasant way to finish off our dinner! Overall, we had a fantastic evening and so glad we discovered this osteria. Thank you for helping to make our time in Florence so delicious and special!
Nolarium Osteria in Florence was an unforgettable dining experience. The elegant yet modern ambiance, spotless interior, and warm atmosphere made it feel special from the moment we arrived. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor — from the Gran Tagliere della Casa with its incredible mix of meats, cheeses, and crostini, to the tender veal shank, the rich tortelli mugellani with pecorino and truffle, and the comforting eggplant parmesan. We finished with a heavenly tiramisu that was the perfect finale. But the true star of the night was Elton, our server — professional, funny, and genuinely passionate about ensuring we had the perfect meal. His service elevated the entire experience. Exceptional food, top-tier service, and unbeatable value — Nolarium is a must-visit in Florence!
Osteria Nolarium has a lovely, elegant, and cozy atmosphere. The staff are incredibly warm and friendly, making us feel very welcome. Our group of seven shared a 1.2 kg T-bone steak, three different kinds of pasta, and sides of spinach and zucchini. The red wine was excellent as well. Everything was delicious and perfectly prepared. I especially recommend the T-bone steak and the pasta with red sauce — both were outstanding. I’m so glad we dined here, and I’ll definitely come back next time I’m in Florence!
Our party was seated upstairs, fun to have a view of the tables below. Service was top notch and food was delicious. We had a variety of dishes. Everyone enjoyed their choices very much and unfortunately no room for dessert but they looked incredible! Very lovely and comfortable restaurant. Recommend a visit here!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Visited for lunch with my son before our guided tour of the Florence Cathedral. The place had such a cozy atmosphere and stylish interior — we loved it right away. Both the man and woman working there were incredibly kind and cheerful, which made the experience even better. The food was absolutely delicious! The vongole pasta was honestly the best I’ve had anywhere in Italy so far, and my son couldn’t stop saying how good it was. The ragù pasta was also excellent. We had a glass of white wine that paired perfectly, and when we ordered a Coke, they even brought us a bucket of ice — such a thoughtful touch! Don’t miss the dessert in the photo — it was amazing. Highly recommend this place!
