The restaurant is a gem! Fast and friendly service and a very cozy atmosphere. The food is AMAZING! We ordered trofie al pesto, steak, and octopus, and they have an excellent wine list! The owner, Valerio, was very friendly and welcoming! The restaurant is a must in Genoa! Absolutely, we'll go again.

Belated review, but the owner DESERVES our utmost respect & admiration. Our large crowd of 20+ came in without any reservations (we got very lucky!), he welcomed us in no problem and handled the entire dining experience like an absolute chad. And god forbid I forget: this place is DELICIOUS!

Very nice traditional regional dishes, cooked and presented beautifully. The parmigiana di acciughe was excellent, full of flavour. The trofiette al pesto were perfect, with an excellent, almost creamy-textured pesto. Very good Vermentino by the glass. Very pleasant and friendly service. Recommended!

The restaurant is very cosy and we sat outside Really tasty starter with lightly fried anchovies, octopus with potatoes and bruschetta with mixture of goat cheese / cream and anchovies fillets on top! Then 3 pasta dishes with pesto, ragu and the amazing anchovies with bread crumbs. Homemade Tiramisu and Penna Cotta for dessert. Complimented with a bottle of Rebo Rigotti and a bottle of Traiano! The host Valerio was great and the staffs were very hospitable. Definitely a place to visit for the best local cuisine!

It has been a long time since I do reviews but this restaurant we walked upon is very good! The owner is very nice to us he took time to explained a lot about wine. Pesto Pasta is one of the best I ever had.
