For what we ordred we enjoyed tonight definitely five stars!! Service was impeccable from the moment we walked in. The young man was very inviting he checked our reservation but was ready to seat us even if we didnt :) While getting settled at the table he brought some mineral water and discussed his recommendations on rhe menu. We decided to get the chefs experience it was 5 course all of which played with your pallet of of course in a good way. Its best if you check out my pictures to get about better idea!! The Chef came out on the third course, plating to the tee and poured the fish broth over the Cod yummy!!! The Proseco was delicious and the Peroni on tap was cold. This was definitely a take your time experience so if your looking to hit and run then order from the main Dishes. Overall warm environment, excellent service and wonderful food!! Couldn't have asked for a better 1st meal for our first day in Italy!!!

I’d consider this as fine dining - first restaurant that changes my plate and knife and fork after each course, and the warm staff has the best English level. Dishes are wonderful. Worth a try.

Lovely location looking into the piazza. Excellent service from our waiter and his support team. Excellent wine list with a great recommendation from our waiter - a local red that was smooth and very fruit forward - Valle Bula from Fattoria Sardi. We started with the appetizer Tartare di Manzo - it was outstanding, If not the best I've ever had! All of the meals were excellent but my Maiale Grigio was the stand out of the day! We didn't get to dessert as we were full and had a train to catch. Definitely recommend!

We were looking for lunch whilst exploring the city and this stood out among other restaurants at the piazza. We had the 5-course tasting menu for lunch, where the chef selected dishes from the à la carte menu. The staff carefully asked about our allergies and intolerances beforehand to ensure everything was suitable, and each dish was thoughtfully explained when served. The chef, originally from Lucca, has experience working in a Michelin-starred restaurant in Paris before returning here — and it shows. Every dish was perfectly balanced and beautifully executed, completely in tune with our palate. The entire experience was lovely from start to finish and most of all, reasonably priced.

Our experience tonight was nothing short of spectacular. The service was excellent and the food exceeded our expectations. They were very considerate and cautious of my food allergies and went above and beyond to prepare the dishes safely for me to enjoy. We will enjoy eating here again during our stay in lovely Lucca.
