Thank you for hospitality and great food. I am very happy we found this place as I was almost starting to get hopeless to find good quality food made with creativity and quality. This is a place where you will not only find pasta and focaccia and pizza and this is truly what made my day! I loved every single meal in the menu which is curated with so much love and passion. Keep up the good work. And thanks for hosting us
An excellent elevated dining experience in Lucca! I can only speak for the Florentine steak, as far as food goes, and it was perfect along with the delicious fries and wine recommendations. The service was friendly, informative, and lighthearted. They create great dining experiences without being pretentious or overbearing.
A perfect experience! The staff were so nice and professional, the food was amazing on both the quality and the visibility. The place looks beautiful and you have your own space, it’s not crowded. Helpful things to know: First of all, you need to make a reservation on the phone before you coming in, because they are full in the evening (at list that what we saw), and the place is small. we made our own reservation 3 hours before. And second of all, the dishes are not very large.
What an amazing place ! We spotted it when walking the wonderful streets of Lucca and booked for the evening - well I’m blown away. Really interesting dishes , well prepared, in a wonderful setting. We’ve been to many restaurants in different counties, and this one has reminded me how a random find can bring a smile to everyone’s face. You can often judge a place by the bread, and they set the pace from the get go - the dark focaccia was amazing (as was the normal version along and other breads), we also got a mini spritz along with a mortadella beignet amuse bouche (all superb). I had a delicious stuffed squid starter followed by the best tagliolini with truffle I’ve ever had! My dessert was an inverted lemon meringue with yuzu - not too sweet and a fantastic version. I’m still salivating over what we ate while writing this, many thanks & Buon Natale! —— Update: as we had such nice memories, I booked to come back with some friends on a summer holiday. I hadn’t noticed the outdoor space in December, but it’s lovely in August and the food was just as delicious the second time (you do worry it won’t be the same, and so glad it was). Definitely worth reserving if in Lucca.
Some of the best food I ate in Lucca. Classic dishes with a modern twist. The Fiorentina steak was the best I had all week, and the truffle pasta was divine. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I found the restaurant itself a bit stark and cold, hence 4 stars for atmosphere.
