Absolutely outstanding in every way! The location, the atmosphere both inside and outside, and the service are perfect. The food is simply incredible – a true highlight at a very fair price. For me, this place is reason enough to visit Mantua – I’ll definitely be coming back!
This is the place to go for a high-class meal. The maitre d' is charming; the food is beautifully presented and mostly delicious. The sea bass was about the best I have ever had. The dessert with coconut blobs was terrific. We went three times in the week we were in Mantua. If you can afford it, go. There are not many restaurants I have ever been to which I would rather visit again.
It’s difficult to find good fish options in Mantua as so many of the traditional dishes of Mantua are meat heavy; Materiaprima is contemporary restaurant close to the centre with indoor and outdoor tables and a kitchen open to the restaurant . The menu is inventive and contemporary featuring many fish dishes and caviar options. We had a prawn tartare with caviar and a tuna ceviche to start followed by a tuna pasta ragu and the traditional pumpkin ravioli and salad. Every dish was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. Friendly and professional service . Would highly recommend and we shall be returning for a second visit before we leave Mantua.
There is nothing negative about this accommodation. The room was beautiful. Clean and the mattress and pillows were perfect! Bathroom was great ! Excellent location and service ! Bravo !!!! The restaurant connected to the rooms seems to be wonderful as well. But didn’t have a chance to try it. Next time :).
Great service. Upscale sea food restaurant. We stopped by for lunch. Pumpkin ravioli were amazing. Seafood linguini were good but with a bit too much of a seafood flavor. The dinner menu looked great. Would love to stop by for dinner one day.
