Antica Osteria Ai Ranari

It has been a few years since I have eaten in this osteria. I was not disappointed, from the service to the food. All was fantastic. Lunch on the 6th was a very good experience for all. Highly recommended. Don't forget to book in advance...

We were looking for a traditional mantuan place and this is the best place to get it. The selection of cheese from the area was good and surprising, the ravioli filled with pumpkin were really delicious and the fried frogs were crisp and tender, the sbricciola with sabayon for dessert was really tasty. All portions were abundant and the price correct with a good service.

WOW out of this world torteli con zucca (pumpkins) and bigoli with bacon. Very reasonable prices. Food can take a while but definitely worth the wait. Friendly staff too. Can recommend.

This is most certainly one of my favourite dining place in mantova. There is a nice selection of local dishes from the tradition and a very large wine selection, most of which are by the bottle and just a few by the glass. The atmosphere is cosy and informal and the service is good.

Delicious local restaurant, great selection of local dishes. Friendly and casual atmosphere. Staff is friendly and helpful. Good wine selection. The restaurant gets really busy on weekends a reservation is a must. Price are fare. Definitely a place to go while visiting Mantova.
