Trattoria Al Boia Partanes

Fantastic quality....extremely fresh tuna, very flavorful caponata, amazingly tasty octopus....and extremely reasonable prices for the quality of food. Very cosy atmosphere and friendly servers also. Highly recommend!!!

Highly recommend this spot! Beautiful location - if you sit outside you are in a historic square overlooking the church. Food was fresh and delicious - we had the grilled fish platter and spaghetti with seafood. Staff is friendly and attentive.

Mediocre i would describe food and service (but as the owner says, he and his team just adapt - meaning the customer is mediocre therefore... just the prices stay the same). The pasta with truffle were presented without much love, kind of thrown on one side of the plate with nothing on the other half, tasted a bit flat and without much seasoning. Same for the sicilian swordfish and there were more potatoes on that plate than fish. I got nothing against higher prices but then the food should be special and consistently good.

Wish I had the caponata we've ordered 😂 and all in all, this place is actually better than expected considering we are long way from the seafood, but still feels like ingredients are at best - fine. Olive oil and bread in particular should be much better in such place. But, the wine choices were decent and smart. Nothing extravagant but worked very well. There was way too much calamary in fried fish plate to my taste, but to be honest, it was fried perfectly
