This was my second visit to 1000 Coffee & Bakery in Venice—and somehow, it was even better than the first. You know a place is doing something right when you find yourself walking past a dozen cafés just to come back here. The coffee is proper—smooth, bold, and made right every time. You don’t need to overthink your order here; whatever you get, it just hits. And the pastries? Ridiculously good. Fresh, flaky, and dangerously addictive. I had one… and then immediately went back for another. No regrets. The vibe is relaxed, the staff are super friendly without being over the top, and everything just feels easy. No tourist-trap energy—just great coffee, quality food, and people who know what they’re doing. Safe to say this place has officially made it onto my “every time I’m in Venice” list. If you’re in the area and looking for a solid coffee and breakfast spot, don’t even think twice—just go.
The croissants and cappuccinos were excellent; fresh, tasty, and definitely worth trying. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The only downside is that it gets quite busy, so there was a bit of a line, and we were lucky to find a spot to sit. That said, the view is absolutely amazing, right in Venice overlooking the canal, which makes it a perfect place to enjoy a coffee and pastry.
Great place to grab a slice of pizza and go. Perfect to eat something good and fast if you don't want to loose time in a restaurant. The location is pretty small, suitable for 1-2 let's say 3 persons. I had a slice of pizza, and ice coffee and a bottle of water and I paid 12.5 euros.
A little gem in Venice with coffee and panini for our brunch. Easy to find from the ferry and using Google maps! Outdoor seating facing the Maddalena church and square and close to canal with frequent gondolas passing. Staff were warm and friendly and in spite of efforts to speak Italian, they responded in English for clarification.
It's my favorite bakery in Venice. My daily routine was to wake up and head straight to 1000 bakery. The fresh croissants and refreshing espresso would wake me up and prepare for the 25K steps I would do each day :) Try their flagship croissant, which is with pistachio filling. If you do not like sweet pastry in the morning, you can try their butter croissant as well. It's equally good.
