We are regular visitors to Italy and came here for lunch after reading the reviews written by locals on Italian Google (using the local version of Google is useful if you are looking for local favourites rather than tourist restaurants). It was easy to see why they were raving about how good this place is. From the warm welcome to the exceptional local dishes, thoughtfully considered wine list with a great selection by the glass, and perfect espresso to finish, this local dining spot didn’t put a foot wrong. I've ordered beef tartar, rosse from Tuscany. Cream Brule and savignoun blanc. Beef tartar was perfect, salty, but rich in favour. Cream Brule had a good texture, but crust itself wasn't "crunchy" enough. It had a slightly lemony touch. That's a place for a good glasse of wine. Red, rosse, white .

Stopped here upon arriving in Milan - it will always be my first stop on future visits. An absolute delight from greeting to goodbye. Everything was amazing: food cooked to perfection with quality ingredients, a great atmosphere, and friendly staff who truly care about their customers. Make sure to try this wonderful place whenever you get the chance! ♥️

We were presented with some 30 page wine menu telling us that their concept was first to choose the wine before even knowing what we wanted to eat 🤨. The wine prices start from over 500 euros, but the last pages has some affordable prices. Food is ok but nothing above normal. Overall a tourist magnet. Can’t believe in TripAdvisor is ranked in the top 20 restaurants.

We dined at Cantine Milano on the final night of our honeymoon, and it was a perfect way to end it! The restaurant was beautifully decorated and had a relaxing and intimate atmosphere inside. Throughout our dining experience, we were served by Arafat who was incredible. Upon being seated, we were offered complimentary Prosecco and bread and oil which set off the tone for the night. My husband and I enjoyed the Meal Experience which served wines that complement each dish. This experience was unlike anything either of us had ever experienced before. All of the dishes we experienced were cooked to utter perfection, and it was clear that each meal was made with love from the chefs. When serving the wines with our dishes, Arafat was extremely knowledgable about each wine, offering information about the region, winemaker, and grape. Each wine was sublime and completely enhanced our dining experience. We left Cantine with very full bellies and full hearts. We will absolutely be returning to Cantine in the future!
