The salsiccia pasta is very good, very creamy. The ricotta and spinach one is very small and not that tasteful, tastes butter too much. I also don’t think the guanciale is guanciale, which would be a scam. The service is not good. We stayed 5min in the door waiting to be asked to sit, and the restaurant was empty with a lot of waiters passing by us. I had to beg to eat.
My wife and I had a the late lunch at this wonderful restaurant. The waitress was very sweet and extremely friendly with a beautiful smile. We both had the pasta. My wife had lasagna and I had the tagliatelle. Very tasty food and the wine the waitress suggested was excellent. Great! Location and ambiance in the restaurant was upscale. Highly recommend.
An elegant enoteca in the center of Modena, serving classic regional dishes. The kitchen takes care of the aesthetic experience, although my pumpkin-stuffed ravioli lacked a bit of punch. My friend's chicken breast, on the other hand, was aromatic and well-seasoned. The service was quite “shy", which extended our stay in the restaurant by a few minutes when paying the bill. It is worth noting, however, that the restaurant is also open during siesta time. This is especially important, because all the highest-rated establishments in Modena in this category (ratings around 4.5\5) are closed then, including several that should be open according to Google. Finding an open restaurant at 3:00 p.m. was a very difficult task.
Great food with many different options. The service was attentive and staff were pleasant and attentive. My only gripe, and this is about Europe and not this location, is the smoking whilst dining.
We stopped by for a short aperitivo and wanted to try the famous lambrusco with fried gnocco and a selection of Tuscany cheese. Everything was so good!! Having this experience with a view of Piazza Grande was amazing! The staff was so kind and friendly. A must do thing if you’re visiting Modena for the first time.
