So, we got some mixed feelings about this one. We called to see if they had a table for 2, and they said that we could come and there would be one eventually. When we got there, the staff got a bit confused, where one said we couldn’t and then after 1min we could, but not in a very friendly manner. Beside that, our waitress was super nice! We got a very private table (super!), and the wine was very good. The food was also okay, and the burrata tartare with pistacchio was really nice.
OMG! This place is amazing! If you can, you should go have a look inside the place, top!!! We had a really great time! Food was excellent! Our service staff was great! We got some bottles back home. Highly recommend!
I went to this beautiful enoteca with my husband and daughter in the center of Montalcino just few hours ago…and I loved it! Location, food and service were really great. I had pici with ragù di cinta senese and they were absolutely delicious! My little girl tried the lasagna and my husband the “val d’Orcia Experience” with a glass of Brunello…all so good! They also have a little grocery at the entrance, with a good selection of typical Tuscan products…such as pasta, honey, sweets, cheese and local charcuterie. Very much recommended!
Unbelievable good taste with great wine. Have no words. Had the papardele a ragout, the lasagna and the pork cheek in red wine sauce along with the Castello Banfi. The picture says it all.
The food was excellent: fresh and full of flavour. The wine was very good, too (albeit a bit expensive). The service was great and the people were very kind and welcoming. I wish they had more sitting areas outside (but they are only for tables for 2 people). The inside sitting is very interesting as each area offers a different decor so there are plenty to choose from. I would want to come back here again.
