We stumbled upon this restaurant in winter 2018 and were touched by the thoughtful kindness and delicious food. Fast forward a few years and it’s even better than we remember. A small handwritten menu offers Tuscan favorites that a perfect for the season. Everything is made fresh. Service is leisurely and thoughtful. This is a lovely place to eat and drink locally and enjoy the best of Tuscany.
Lovely, small and cosy restaurant with good traditional Tuscan cuisine. Nice and friendly staff, reservation should be made in advance. Highly recommended!
This tiny, quirky little cafe has delicious local cuisine on a handwritten menu. The eclectic decor ranges from pictures of Banksy installations to antique scales. It's difficult to find, because the signage is obscured by tres, and it's not exactly where Google Maps claims.
As authentic of an eating experience as you can have! The restaurant does not seem to have opening hours or a fixed menu - the menu is handwritten every day. The food is delicious and homemade, served with bread and by the cook personally. Highly recommended if you're in the area.
10/10. We came here as a group of six following a recommendation from a good friend at the Loacker Tenuta Corte Pavone in Montalcino. Well, we were definitely not disappointed. Everything we had was just stunningly delicious, high quality, local specialities made with love and passion. You can feel it and taste it in every dish. For primo, we ordered a mix of antipasti recommended by the capo/chef of the restaurant. Tortini di pecorino: HIGHLY recommended! As secondo, the tagliata was perfectly cooked. A few bottles of the famous Brunello di Montalcino alongside and you are in tuscan gourmet heaven. Prices are unbeatable. Bring some time with you and don't stress the chefs while they are doing their artwork. ;)
