Superbe traditional Napolitan food at a very good price. The menu is only in Italian, but the host was kind enough to recommend some top local dishes. I had the pasta genovese, meatballs in tomato sauce and parmigiana, with a glass of local white wine. Everything was delicious and I honestly overate because I couldn't help myself. Highly recommend if you want to try real Napolitan local dishes.
We were so glad to have eaten here during a day trip in Naples. I found this via Google Map search since it's near the train station. It's a hidden gem that everyone should know about! Pros: > Very good Italian food, incuding Napolean food > Host Anna is very hospitable and speaks English well > Near the Naples train station Cons: > Toilet seem a bit dirty and old, and needs renovation > Situated in a neighborhood that felt a bit run-down and slightly unsafe
The best local experience we had in Naples! Anna and her husband were so friendly and funny, the food was traditional and very delicious, the place was beautiful and so local and the prices were great. It is definitely a hidden gem! And that tiramisu at the end was a highlight! If we ever come back to Napoli, we will visit them again!
BEST food we have had in our 4.5 days in Napoli. Cozy family restaurant near the main station. Every dish we had was so very good! Highly recommend the clam pasta - I still dream about it today. My partner doesn't enjoy seafood due to the fishiness, but he snatched the grilled calamari from me because it was so fresh and grilled so well. Ana was absolutely lovely, treated us like guests at her home the moment we stepped in. We spent about 20-30 per person only because we couldn't stop eating 🤣 but it's more in the range of 10-20. I will go back to Napoli just to eat here again.
You wouldn’t think this small wine bar would serve actually very nice tasty cibi napolitani when you just look at this place from outside. Pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce was amazing. Prawns were fresh and crispy yet juicy. Of course we needed to try a street food of Napoli, it’s like a croquet with melting cheese inside. We walked from the train station and the street was not with many people, so I am not sure how the surrounding of this area usually is. But the place is so welcoming and I am so glad that we decided to wait for the table to be ready. The lady at the cashier is another reason to visit this place. We enjoyed a real hospitality of Napoli from her. It seemed many customers were locals, means the quality guaranteed. We finished the lunch with ice cold limoncello they offered to us. I’ll definitely recommend this place and I’d come back if I happened to be in Napoli again.
