Antica Trattoria del Nilo - Spaccanapoli

We had our last meal before leaving Naples here and enjoyed our experience. Good prices for food and the cover charge is €2. We ordered spaghetti carbonara, spaghetti limone and rigatoni with cream of zucchini and pancetta. All the pastas tasted very good, and the portions were enough to make you full. We live in Naples but just wanted to try this one for once, we waited a little bit to have a table. The moment I entered, I understood it was very touristic, there weren’t even 1 Italian inside. And I saw carbonara on the menu and I made sure it’s completely touristic. If you see carbonara in Naples, you can just leave that restaurant. The pasta was mid, the steak was fatty and it was also mid. 45 euros in total for 2 pasta 1 steak and no alcohol.

Such a lovely restaurant. So good we ate here 4 times in 8 days ! Dare we say it we wanted something other than pizza, and this was the place. Staff were so polite and helpful. The website and menu were easy to use. The food was excellent, very tasty and flavoursome and a good choice of drinks.

This place was amazing, especially the customer service! We ate here twice during our visit! The young man with blonde hair has exceptional customer service. The food was great!

Loved everything about this place. We waited 10mins in a short line for a table. While waiting we were offered a drink outside which was refreshing in the heat. We had the eggplant parmigiana and grilled vegetables to start and rigatoni with zucchini ricotta and bacon sauce and penne with spicy pomodoro sauce, finished with a tiramisu dessert to share. All of the food was super tasty and the staff were very friendly and attentive, it was a cosy seating area inside and couldn’t help but have conversations with other diners surrounding us which was quite nice.
