Umami Gastrobar

I ate lunch on July 1st. Let me explain why I put one star. I am traveling by bike (from Belgium) and arrived in Parma early for the check in at my apartment so I decided to have lunch nearby. The food was ok, the waitress was also very friendly. I took a plate, two ice tea and 1L of water because it was super hot. I had no more water in my water bottles on my bike so I asked if I could fill one with water from the tap. The restaurant refused to do so. I think it is unbelievable to refuse this when being in the middle of a heat wave, after paying for food and many drinks. Any person with common sense would let a cyclist fill its bottle. I don’t have space for plastic bottle and it also does not make sense.

Lovely local restaurant. Excellent service and delicious handmade food. I had delicate tortelli and a very good salad with fennel, pears and cheese, and wine of course! Buonissimo!

High quality Emilian food. Average quantity, price are almost right, maybe some dishes could cost less, but the asking price is quite acceptable. Nice and comfortable location. Sometimes there could be dishes variations, based on the ingredients availablity. Must try!

Loved it! The service is really nice and the food outstanding. The place itself is welcoming and stylish in an old world style, but not stuffy at all. Prices are reasonable. I would go again in a heartbeat.
