They deserve an A+. The welcome, professionalism, and cuisine were excellent. I celebrated my mother's birthday with my family and they were wonderful, and the cake was not only delicious but also spectacular. Thank you and congratulations ❣️

I think I can count only a few more perfect lunches in Piacenza, and L'Antica Sosta dei Cavalli is one of them. It's been a long time since a restaurant surprised me so positively. The calling card reads "typical Piacenza cuisine with a twist"; a perfect summary of what you can expect from this place: we were able to savor both traditional dishes and experimental dishes, never seen elsewhere. The tortelli con la coda and the ravioli with wild boar were simply out of this world, as was the charcuterie board with gnocco fritto. The side dish of onions, peppers, and zucchini was also very popular. But above all, we were delighted by the staff's meticulous attention to detail, not only in supervising the dining room but also in preparing each course. I've rarely seen such meticulous attention to plating, as well as flavor, in Piacenza. It has nothing to envy of certain sophisticated, nationally recognized establishments. The neutral colors of the walls, besides being expertly paired with the tablecloths and other furnishings, also rest the eyes, creating a particularly intimate and personal experience. For such quality, the prices are fair. But what I appreciated most, the icing on the cake, were the desserts. It's very easy for a restaurant to overshadow sweets, risking detracting from their value, but here they shine in all their deliciousness. I don't think I've ever tried such a fresh and delicious millefeuille anywhere else, and the same goes for the sbrisolona with zabaglione (one of the best in the city, in my opinion). In short, the lunch couldn't have ended better. My compliments once again to the entire staff, who gave us an unforgettable experience. We'll definitely be back.

A very positive experience with super kind and helpful staff. We ordered two different starters, both in terms of quantity and taste, and we were completely satisfied. The cured meats appetizer was delicious, made with quality ingredients. Desserts are recommended, but I personally found the tiramisu a bit heavy (I'm not from the area, so maybe they do it differently here). The cheesecake was good, but the biscuit was soft. I highly recommend both the location and the food.
