Podere Il Casale

We had dinner here while staying at a nearby agriturismo. The dinner was just delicious and we enjoyed every bite. The team at the restaurant was also wonderful. They were helpful and kind, explaining options and where various ingredients came from. The cheese tasting board was fun and their balsamic vinegar is so divine we came back the next day and ordered bottles of it to be delivered as gifts for people back home.

What a beautiful location! Our tour guide picked this place for us to dine at for lunch and it was very good! It was very interesting to learn about how everything they make there is from their farm! Their cheeses were absolutely delicious and their wines were very good as well! We bought a bottle of their wine, which we enjoyed during our trip prior to returning home. The pasta was a pretty heavy dish, but it was good! The lemon cannolis at the end were delicious! We would recommend visiting here.

We booked the cheese making experience here with dinner after. I really recommend one of their classes or experiences. It was truly a half day experience where we learned all about the farm’s approach to food and everything there is to know about cheese. Ulise, the patriarch of the farm, was with us the entire time and we felt very taken care of. The meal itself was beautiful - you can taste the care in what they produce. The greens in the salad were insanely flavorful. How impressive it was to have pasta from grains grown on the property. And of course- the cheese was magic. This is a special place.

We had the most wonderful experience at Podere il Casale for our pre-wedding dinner with 22 guests. From the very beginning, communication was excellent — months in advance we aligned everything by email, from the menu and drinks to prices and details. Camilla was amazing throughout the whole process, always kind and helpful with every decision. On the night of the dinner, everything exceeded our expectations. The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was beautiful, and our guests had such a great time. The staff was very kind and supportive with us, making the evening even more special. I highly recommend Podere il Casale — both for the quality of the food and the warmth of the team.

We spent the evening with owner Sandra and her family and it was amazing. They are warm and welcoming and so hard working to ensure your experience is perfect. We did a cooking pizza class and it was so fun! And of course delicious. The starters through dessert were great and the wine was flowing. Their property is amazing and a must see - animals, garden and farm. We will definitely return to visit as we have new friends now in Pienza.
