The food was incredible. Highly recommend the curu-dicchi. Our first meal after we flew into Pisa and the best meal of the whole trip.
A friendly and clean local spot with excellent good, especially pastas. The staff is wonderful—Federica was especially warm and welcoming. I wish I had the chance to come back again. Definitely recommend!
Food: 5/5 - Special traditional food from the Calabria region in the south of Italy that you can’t find in normal Italian restaurants. Highly recommend: - meatballs with tomato sauce - arancini with spicy sausage inside - fried frittele that came with a selection of ham - traditional ice cream dessert (il tartufo di pizzo calabre), it’s basically ice cream covered with a dusting of bitter cocoa and with melted chocolate inside Service: 4/5 - The waitress didn’t speak English extremely well and was taking care of all the tables alone, but she was friendly and willing to help. After she saw that we couldn’t understand anything from the Italian menu, she brought us an English one with photos.
Amazing. It was unexpected surprise for us, since we stayed in nearby hotel next to the airport and found that restaurant by the accident. The food was amazing, home made pasta was incredible. Place is rather cozy, but it is not any problem. Service was also very pleasant. I would definitely get back there!
The place is nice, I was attracted by the overwhelmingly positive reviews on Maps for the restaurant. The food is good and it deserves a good rating but I think the main reason behind the eating is that they promote themselves on Google and TripAdvisor. I would recommend it if you are in the area and want a good Italian pasta. The waitress looked overly occupied and couldn't keep up with all the people waiting for her, a few additional staff would definitely help. The price of the dishes was very reasonable.
