PepeOro® Restaurant Cafe

Efficient roadside restaurant for a weekday lunch. We had the risotto, peposo, and tagliata and they were all tasty. There was indoor as well as outdoor seating. The restrooms were downstairs. One side of the establishment is a bar and the other side a restaurant for sit down meals. On repeat during the entire meal was the same song - Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now.

Atmosphere on outside patio was nice and looked cozy but with the large road nearby traffic was pretty loud. Not problematically so, but it’s not a quiet place. Food was great and staff were great. Would go back. Spritz was best one I’ve had in Pistoia.

I highly recommend PepeOro for its exceptional service, delicious food, stunning presentation, inviting ambiance, and perfect music selection. The staff is incredibly friendly and will help you choose the best dishes, even if, like me, you don’t speak Italian. Every meal we had was a delight, and I would definitely recommend PepeOro to anyone who hasn’t yet experienced it. We enjoyed sitting on the patio each time, as it offers a lovely view. The owners have truly done an outstanding job, and they even offer their own merchandise.

This place has a wonderful location (for those traveling by car, a nearby gas station will be very convenient), friendly staff and tourists are welcome here (if you, like me, are not a connoisseur of Italian cuisine, then be sure that they will help you with the choice no matter of you speak italian or not). The service is excellent, very clean (btw hygiene is especially important in the current covid situation). But since the review is about the restaurant, whatever you choose, be sure everything will be veeeeeery tasty! 😋Also note the presentation of the food. As soon as you see that the waiter is carrying your dish, you immediately want to eat it 🙂 Definitely recommend it!

Good food, very convenient to the highway, good service. Clean, updated interior and front patio. Great pit stop for lunch. They offer sit-down restaurant service as well as typical Italian bar service of sandwiches etc.
