Perfectly delicious sandwiches! We only tried the vegetarian ones - number 9 (nove) and melanzane alla parmigiana. The sandwiches were freshly prepared and tasted simply amazing. You can customize any sandwich and get your own thing made. The place is tiny with limited seating, we grabbed the last table but turn around is fast.

What a fantastic place for proper Italian deli sandwiches! The owner is great. The sandwiches were excellent. I got number 12 as a cold sandwich to eat later and the mushroom sandwich as a hot Panini sandwich - they were both stellar, highly recommend.

Absolutely wonderful paninis! Ran down from our hotel for a craving from my pregnant wife and these sandwiches are great! She had the Amatriciana and I had the Doliciano (I think) but I added fresh tomato. And they accommodated extra cheese for my wife on hers. Great staff! Great food!

The bread was very crunchy, a bit on the saltier side. Come 9 euro a person, but portion sizes are quite small. If you’re hungry, it might not be enough to fill you up. We ordered number 16 (SEDICI) and 18 (DICIOTTO) There is not a lot of room to dine in, a bit of seating on the outside but just small seating areas. Credit card was accepted Diciotfo was a bit more balanced, but sedici was a bit on the salty side albeit more savory

Fuorinorma ended up being one of my favorite food stops in Rome. The location in Monti is fantastic—close enough to the Colosseum to walk, yet far enough from the main tourist chaos that it feels authentic and local. The place itself has a relaxed and casual vibe, perfect for sitting down after a long day of exploring. Instead of trying their famous sandwiches, we decided to go for the pizza and cheese balls, and I’m so glad we did. The pizza was thin, crispy on the edges, and topped with high-quality ingredients that tasted incredibly fresh. The cheese balls were the real surprise—crispy on the outside, gooey and flavorful on the inside, absolutely addictive. Paired with a glass of their house wine, it made for such a satisfying meal without being too heavy. The staff were friendly and welcoming, always smiling and happy to help. That said, when the place got busy, the service slowed down a bit, and it took longer than expected to get our food. Also, the seating area is fairly small, so at peak times it can feel a little cramped. Still, these small inconveniences didn’t take away from the overall experience. The food quality, the atmosphere, and the fair prices made it an absolute standout in Rome. If you’re in the Monti neighborhood and looking for something delicious and relaxed, Fuorinorma is a must-try. For me, it’s an easy 5/5.
