We came here twice within 2 years. We ordered the tripes, milanese (fried chicken breasts), seafood pot and beef rolls as the main dishes, and they were pretty good. Our desserts, panna cotta and passion fruit cheesecake were both great. However, the appetizer fried zucchini was cold and oily, which I won’t recommend. Ceaser salad and eggplants millifoglie were just okay. The staff were very friendly.
Amazing pizza. Had rice balls to start which were also lovely. Staff were nice and we got given cherry, almond red wine shots for free with the bill. A lovely place, left feeling very full.
We did have a wait to be seated but it was an ideal table and worth it; we and other guests were not on top of one another. The terrace was well-lit with live music but we watched as several diners on the very edge were approached by street vendors. We had two pastas: rigatoni gricia and spaghetti alla vongole and the saltimbocca. We also added an amazing Greek salad. This was plenty of dinner for two adults and two tweens. While nice, the meal did not stand out for us against other Roman cuisine. We ordered tiramisu since so many other tables had it: unremarkable, and could be passed on. Toilets downstairs were tidy.
This is an Italian restaurant that is highly recommended. From the photos of different eras on the wall, you can see the changes in the center of Rome, such as the appearance of Castel Sant'Angelo in the past and the conditions of ordinary people's homes in the past. As for the quality of the food, I think it is very good! The taste is just right and the sauce is rich. I especially recommend their seafood platter, which is very good and delicious. In addition, the staff are also very friendly and helpful
We ordered gluten-free pasta and some starters, though unfortunately, the restaurant doesn’t offer gluten-free pizza. We tried the lasagna, fettuccine with pesto and shrimp, and the parmigiana — all were delicious and well-prepared. The staff were very knowledgeable about gluten allergies, reassured us about avoiding cross-contamination, and were also extremely friendly and attentive throughout the meal. Overall, a great experience for anyone looking for safe and tasty gluten-free options.
