Papillon

It is a great location to have lunch. But we didn’t like the dishes on the menu. Too much seafood. I came back for the gazpacho but it was not on the menu anymore. You could tell something changed because normally it is really crowded in the summer. But now it wasn’t.

Wonderful place to dine ❤️ We loved having a meal here - seating outside by the lake - ring to reserve a table or turn up early before 7pm. We sat inside which was totally fine. Friendly and helpful staff. Delicious risotto - Salò is renowned for this, so highly recommend choosing these dishes. Our risotto was mushroom based - cheesy and creamy, rich in flavour, definitely worth getting. Wine was excellent and mixed vegetables a perfect accompaniment to the meal. If you want a delicious meal in Salò with a view to the lake, Papillon is definitely worth checking out. The middle plate in the photo was loaded with risotto - photo taken half way through our meal. Reasonably priced. Dinner for two of us came to €35.

Amazing experience! Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed the Fish Soup, Fisherman's Risotto, Grilled Sardines, and Pizza – each dish was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making the meal even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place from the bottom of my heart!

We enjoyed a nice dinner with a great view on the lake. The service was good and the crew very friendly. The food was good with quite decent portions. Little tip, reserve your table for dinner because the place gets quite quickly busy.
