Canadian tourist here - first time in Trento and found this gem of a restaurant. The service was great. The menu options were varied and incorporated a great deal of fresh seafood options. I went with a chicken Caesar salad and a pizza - and they were both top notch! The cocktail pairing was a duomo sour and I could’ve easily had another were my liver not exhausted from a week of wine, haha. I’d definitely come back. It’s a great atmosphere to kill a few hours and enjoy some great Italian cuisine!
The owner of Ristorante Bottega Moderna Bistrot, Nicola Pesca, and his staff were amazing and incredibly friendly. The food was fantastic! As a visitor from New York City, I truly enjoyed the fresh pasta with clams, pizza, dessert, and coffee.
In the heart of beautiful Trento, I had an unforgettable experience at this restaurant. I ordered polenta – a dish I usually don’t enjoy – but here it completely changed my mind. It was absolutely delicious, probably the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve been coming to Italy for 20 years. Simple, authentic, and truly memorable!
We were disappointed with the service of our waitress, first she forgot about our starter, then when she took order from each person, one of us ordered a steak, without advising or asking she brought 1 kilo meat which was 118 euro for a portion. Normally when the price is by height, the waitress must to advise or ask the desired weight. We would have appreciated better advise and better service.
Cute little restaurant where you have great food and a good location. I ate the salad but I would always recommend the pasta - 10:10!
