This little place is somewhat off the beaten path for tourists but it is no secret to locals. The food was delicious from antipasti through digestivo. Cheese plate, pasta fagioli, tagliate di manzo … dolce, everything. We tried to return without a reservation on the weekend and the owner apologized profusely (completely our fault). My advice … go, but preferably with a prenotazione. The service was without pressure & impeccable.
Can’t review it properly but I waited for 10 minutes outside for somebody to take my order from 22:00 to 22:10. Nobody came so I went inside and I asked if they still serve food and the lady at the bar asked the guys in the kitchen who said no, even though I’m Google maps it says they’re open until 00:00. Too bad, as I saved this place as my last place to dine in Treviso. Lady was nice enough to recommend other places though
Had dinner here on our last night in Italy. The octopus and carbonara bigoli was great! What made our night was the friendly service. Our server was genuinely kind and personable - a refreshing experience afte being in Venice and Florence.
Lovely restaurant, they really went for it on the decoration and the food was great too! Especially the roast beef cichetti and the melanzane Parmigiano!
Overall, the experience was delightful. Delectable food, cool atmosphere and helpful staff. They helped us choose the dishes and even prepared them very quickly so we could arrive at the airport. The only problem was that, when we paid, they assumed that we would give them 10 euros as tips, when the order was only 50 euros. So, we gave 70 euros and they gave us back just 10… It was bothersome because we wanted to leave some tips, like 5€, which is 10%, not 10€…
