I recently visited Poke and Mo in Trieste, and I am absolutely blown away by the experience! From the moment I walked in, the friendly Chinese staff made me feel welcome with their warm smiles and attentive service. They were incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and even offered recommendations based on my preferences. Their hospitality truly added to the overall enjoyment of my meal.
Had to wait a bit longer than expected for the food, but it was worth it—the ingredients were fresh and tasty. I also liked that I could personalize my bowl just the way I wanted
We were looking for something traditionally Italian to eat, but with the scorching heat (36°C) and the kids starting to get a bit fussy about being hungry, we stumbled upon this charming little spot offering something we hadn’t tried before. We ordered two poke bowls (one small, one medium), two “Mo” daily menus (which include fries and a drink) and portion of gyoza (4 pcs). Everything was genuinely good: fresh ingredients, perfectly sized portions, and despite the terrace being quite busy, our food arrived relatively quickly. The staff were friendly and welcoming and toilets were clean. When we’re in Trieste again, we’ll definitely be coming back!
If you want a poke bowl, then you have to eat here! You can choose a small, medium or large bowl. You can pick your own ingredients and there is a lot of choice. It's really delicious and the service is good. You can eat at the restaurant/terrace or choose take-a-way. You must give it a try!
Had a beef Mo (think a bao made of filo pastry) and it was flavoursome. The staff was super kind and friendly. Despite the heat, the temperature under the canopy was good and there was a bit of a breeze, even. Recommended for a quick lunch break.
