Hi everyone, I almost tried every sushi places in Trieste and this is a nice one. First of all, the atmosphere is really good. They are so friendly and kind :) I selected all you can eat menu. One negative side that I can say maybe menu can be wider :). But overall nice experience. Nigiri is my fav :)
Last night SOY surprised us yet again with 2 vegetarian sushi rolls that were absolutely delicious! We went several times and the food is always delicious! The athmosphere is very nice and the service is excellent! Yesterday we ordered in and we received a very nice surprise with a free serving of fried Nutella: very much appreciated by us both! Thank you SOY team, keep it up! ;-)
The All You Can Eat menu is a great choice for lunch. I must admit that I've been to other Asian restaurants where the menu was richer. Although the staff doesn't speak English, they are very kind, and the service is fast. Every dish was delicious and fresh. To order, you need to write the numbers on a piece of paper instead of selecting them on a tablet, but this process is simple and easy. However, I’d appreciate having the menu in English, as it would make ordering much easier. Overall, this place is really good, and I’d definitely come back.
I'm sorry, but we ate here last week, and the experience was awful. We waited 45 minutes before the food was even served, and it was served one by one. We had to wait another 10 to 15 minutes for the other orders. Our second order was even worse; some orders didn't even arrive, and the sushi was disappointing.
The salmon sushi and sashimi were fresh, and the ambiance was pleasant. However, there were some issues. The allergen symbols on the menu were not reliable, and there weren't many options for vegans. Most importantly, our first order, which we wrote on paper, did not arrive in full. We waited for 10 minutes, but when we placed a new order (though not the same items), it came quickly. We had to ask whether some items from our first order had been missed.
