A nice place with delicious food and a calm, quiet atmosphere—no loud music, just a relaxing vibe. There were many foreigners dining, which shows it’s a welcoming spot for visitors to enjoy Italian dishes. The staff were friendly and professional. Overall, a pleasant experience and a good choice for anyone wanting to try authentic Italian cuisine.
My husband and I stumbled upon this place for a late night bite. We had the baked Mussels! It was delicious, everything I wanted and satisfied my cravings. Paired with a bottle of Pinot Grigio. Light and crisp! Service was great, as they took my husband and I without reservation. The tiramisu was light and airy, with a bite of mini chocolate chips. Yummy. Definitely happy!
Hostaria Osottoosopra offers a truly authentic Italian dining experience. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a special evening. We started with the beef carpaccio, which was beautifully presented and melted in the mouth. The eight-hour slow-cooked beef cheek was the star – incredibly tender and rich in flavour. The seafood pasta was fresh and perfectly cooked. Service was attentive yet unobtrusive. While on the pricier side, the quality justifies the cost. A wonderful taste of Italy, highly recommended for a memorable meal. We'll definitely be returning.
First day in Venezia and the last leg of our Italia trip. This restaurant is one to remember. Was recommended the PITARS Refosco Rossa and was quite impressed for the value. The mussels & beef cheek were the stand outs. Recommendations don’t come easy, but I’d recommend the aforementioned. Tutto Bene!
We were looking for a place to have dinner and came across this one. Arguably one of the best restaurants in Venice. The food was amazing and tasty. The staff were very polite, kind and welcoming. We didn’t have a reservation but that was not a problem. The atmosphere was cozy, welcoming, great music and wine. Definitely a must if you want calm atmosphere, fantastic food and good service!
