Super Great food and the owner was incredibly friendly. Place was filled with locals so I knew it was great!
Yes GLUTEN FREE options! Wonderful careful staff (they boil fresh water for gf pasta). The sarde in saor and whipped cod were my list to try in Venice. GF, delicous and served w polenta so I could enjoy. Also a few slices of gf bread! I had gf spaghetti w black scuttlefish sauce. Loved it! What a delight to try 3 Venetian specialties in one meal! (They do have gf pizza crust, store bought like in all Venice restaurants)
Wonderful staff staff homemade nuttella cake lovely. Helped us with a happy birthday surprise. Coktails 7 euro Beautiful view
Great pizza, bread before the meal was a little dry. My wife enjoyed her pesto pasta, I got the pizza with ham and cheese on it. Wine was great (even the cheapest one at $15, which is what I got) Would definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area! Service was decent, if you ask to split the bill (table of 7 people) they will have you do the math and then tell them how much you will pay towards the total bill. So that was kinda strange.
The worst gluten free pizza we had in Italy. I think this place is only frequented by tourists - no idea why it has so many high reviews. The service was bad. I watched them double seat people. Our pizza took one hour - other tables of larger groups were seated, served pizza, and paid while we waited for our food. Maybe gluten free takes extra long? But then why not just tell us that. Gluten free crust was doughy and undercooked. The redeeming quality was the waterfront view and cheap decent red wine. The salad was pretty good but also very simple. We were planning to order dessert but got so frustrated with the bad pizza and service that we left to get comfort gelato to redeem the night. Go somewhere else.
