It feels as though this restaurant can read minds. I was looking for a place to eat and thought to myself: I need something light. After my treatment in Montecatini, it’s better not to burden the stomach. At the restaurant I happened upon, they offered a dish that couldn’t have been more suitable — pasta with mushrooms and veal, delicate and mild. While I was waiting, they brought me some bread with exquisite local olive oil. I silently hoped it wouldn’t be bitter, as it so often is — and it wasn’t. And finally, I caught myself thinking that I’d love a little something sweet, perhaps some ice cream. But I felt too lazy to ask for the dessert menu. And imagine — they brought it to me! On the house. Coincidence, do you think?
Totally recommend gem! Private atmosphere super close to Teatro Romano, professional and kind staff combined with a well-balanced delicious menu. A true pleasure, dining while being cuddled by the Adige’s waters white noise.
The best restaurant in Verona! (Or at least in the first row of restaurants in the city). The pasta dishes are the best we've tasted in the city, their variation of tiramisu is exceptional in its quality and "mouth-watering" flavors. You should not, in any case, miss a meal there.
This was by far the best meal I had in Italy this year. The tuna tataki was divine! The starter (jamon iberico with figs and mozzarella) was amazingly good and the pasta alle vongole as good as in Napoli. The person that served us was full of joy and energy and the chef happy to cook for us. If you’re in Verona, is a must to visit them!
We had a wonderful experience at Antica Torretta last night. Service was thoughtful and passionate and timely. All of the servers made you feel like they wanted you to enjoy the experience. We tried some different dishes and flavors and were pleasantly surprised. All of the dishes were outstanding. Then, after dinner, it’s only a 1 minute walk to the Ponte Pietra and fabulous views. Great restaurant and location.
