While this restaurant has gathered many five-star reviews, my experience placed it second compared to another popular spot I recently enjoyed in Verona. And I have given that place 5 stars already, so it really would not be fair. Here's why: We ordered two starters and two mains. For my starter, I chose the hen salad, which was flavorful but notably light on actual meat. Instead, it seemed to be mostly chicken skin – and while a small amount can be delicious, this felt like an excessive portion, almost as if two chicken legs had been peeled directly onto the plate. The other dishes we had - the typical sausage with the pepper sauce, the beef Carpaccio and the pasta - were delicious.

We had a fantastic meal at Osteria Miola and were made to feel very welcome by the hosts. Excellent wine suggestions when we asked what would pair well with our dishes and the food was incredible - my partner ordered the pasta fresca, ravioli con carciofi, and I had the duck, both delicious. If we have the chance to come back to Verona, we'll definitely be coming back! Grazie mille

If, like us, you only are one day in Verona then you MUST have a meal in Osteria Miola which is tucked away in a small side street. We arrived early in the evening, so we were able to have a conversation with the friendly owner about the local dishes made with ingredients sourced from local growers and suppliers. We were guided in trying regional dishes we have not had before by suggestions from the owner and were not dissapointed. We really didn't need a dessert but the temptation was too great! Apart from that, we considered the cost of our meal was very reasonable. If at any time we find ourselves in Verona again we will be sure to visit.

Honestly, I was expecting very little from our last night and this was by far my most favorite experience! It was SO good and they have an AMAZING wine list!!! Please come before you leave. You won’t regret it.

I traveled all the way from Singapore to visit Verona, and based on Google reviews, I discovered this place with an impressive 5.0 rating. After enjoying our first dinner on our first night in Verona on 29 March 2025, my wife and I couldn’t be happier with our experience—we would also give it a well-deserved 5.0. For starters, the bread selection was outstanding, including ciabatta or rustic country bread with a crispy crust and airy interior. There was also an elongated breadstick-like piece, possibly grissini—every bite was simply delicious. The dinner portions were just right, and the Pistachio Mousse we chose for dessert was, without a doubt, the best dessert we’ve ever had in our lives. The service was fantastic—attentive, fast, and friendly. The restaurant itself was spacious, with well-spaced tables, making for a comfortable dining experience. Food: 5 Service: 5 Ambience: 5
