The most charming and romantic place we have seen during our stay. Location is very peaceful, yet vivid, surrounded by beautiful architecture. We had some wine and tiramisu. During the trip we visited Milano, Venezia and Verona, and this place, without doubt, had the most delicious tiramisu we have tasted.
We had a great experience a little over a year ago and were very excited to come back and revisit this great place. Back then the service staff was very knowledgeable about different spirits and could give great recommendations. The menu was much longer and had many interesting rare drinks to offer. This year it was completely different. Many (luckily not all) who work there don’t take interest in alcohol anymore and don’t know what they are selling. So one has to hope to catch the right people at work to have a good experience. The menu got very short and basic. The cocktails taste good but they are small and expensive. It used to be exceptional but now it’s just fancy and overrated.
We came across this place and we are so glad we did. Very cool place, with reasonably priced drinks and delicious food. Staff are friendly and good humoured. We went a few times on our stay in Verona, would highly recommend.
Romeo is a hidden gem in the heart of the city. Tucked away from the crowds, it feels like you’ve stumbled upon a little secret spot with so much history in the buildings around it. The service is excellent—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The cocktails are top notch (their Aperol Spritz is perfect), and the overall atmosphere makes it easy to relax and enjoy yourself. A beautiful place with character, great drinks, and a location that feels both lively and intimate. Highly recommended!
We stopped there for a little aperitivo break during the day — and what a treat! The design of the place instantly reminded us of the White Lotus opening credits — elegant, artistic, and with a touch of drama. The cocktails were delicious, the small bites were exquisite, and the prices? Super reasonable. What more could you ask for? Perfect spot to unwind a bit in Verona after a long day of exploring. Highly recommend!
