This place serves Armenian dishes along with a limited wine menu. The food is wonderful; the wine good. We especially enjoyed the Armenian Jajekh Salad, the (generous) Aubergine with Tahini, and the Za'atar & White cheese in Taboon. Pretty much all the tables were full while we were there; there's no obvious way to make a reservation on the web site. But it's worth a wait, if you decide to go.
Really good food and local wine with friendly service. A lovely place just inside the New Gate to grab a glass or two of local wine and have some delicious food. Friendly staff, nice selection of wines by the glass as well as by the bottle. We've eaten there twice now and tried lots of different dishes (and all of their wines by the glass) and each one was a treat in its own way, you just can't go wrong here. The house read Cabernet from Monte was a big hit with me as was the Jascala Rose for my wife. The burrata is off-the-hook good and a special treat for sure.
There are nice wines and variety. We took an argentinean malbec which price was around 70% more than in wine shops which is normal. The waiter brought the wine with the cork half out, opened next to me and just left... It is a wine bar so I was a little shocked that he didn't pour me to taste. Anyway the wine was excellent. The pizza burrata is very good, focaccias are very good. Plates of cheese and charcuterie are not worth the price in my opinion. There was no desserts.
Twice we stopped here late while in Jerusalem. Wonderful food, very good local wines. But best of all, an engaging and friendly staff that makes it all work like a gathering of friends and strangers you won’t want to leave.
Great food and very attentive service. Antipasti Focaccia and manchego salad were excellent . Knaffe could be better.
