Authentic greek meals.. Recommending my favorit " Fasulia gigantes " pure vegetarian meal from giant butter beens..

I’m not sure if it was a language barrier, but it gave me the impression that he was trying to trick me. I asked for the bill, and as usual, I was asked how I wanted to pay. I said I would pay in cash, and instead of bringing the bill, he came over and said I should pay “fifty and a half.” “Fifteen” seemed way too little compared to what I expected to pay, and “fifty” was definitely out of the question. To avoid any misunderstanding, I showed him a 50 bill and asked if that’s what he meant, and he said yes. I asked him to bring me the receipt. After going to the register, he came back without a receipt and said it was actually twenty-six and a half. He added something that, in his mind, was probably a good explanation for the misunderstanding, but I didn’t understand it. I left disappointed, with the clear impression that he had tried to cheat me.

Must see and eat when in Kalamata! Food was great and traditional, atmosphere too with live music, drinks local and good. Extremely friendly staff and owner.

Absolutely best service I had as foreigner ANYWHERE in Greece in all my Solo travels that I had since 2019. They care to find you a table even if it's borrowing from next cafe They bring it under cover if rain starts English menu is amazing old school written on paper Greek life music that is authentic so people dance with all the freedom and not some touristic trap And they have pan fried chicken /pork along wine in the cooking process which is the best! And kitchen works past 23 on non - holiday Thursday !
