Gatto Nero in Corfu is an excellent choice for both dining and coffee. Perfectly situated at the meeting point of the old and new town, it offers a prime location to enjoy the island’s vibrant atmosphere. While the café faces the lively hustle and bustle of the touristic surroundings, it remains a pleasant spot to pause and take it all in. Service is efficient, though not especially warm, but overall the experience is rewarding and well worth a visit
Very nice place, right next to hotel Konstantinoupolis. I had my breakfast over there and was so glad that besides traditional breakfast eggs selection their were offering local dishes. I got their Musaka, orange pie and shaken ice coffee. Everything was delicious, although orange pie was a bit too sweet to my taste. But overall I really like the place when you can enjoy great cuisine and nice authentic atmosphere of old Corfu at the same time.
Lovely cafe and restaurant near the port in Corfu. Excellent value for money and really good service. The food was wonderful 😋
We were just passing by, looking for a place to eat, but the lovely and friendly girl who greeted us made us stop right here, and we’re so glad we did! She helped us choose the perfect beer and wine, and kept checking in to make sure we were enjoying everything. I absolutely fell in love - both with the restaurant and wonderful staff. Highly recommended!
We had only a short time in Old Town Corfu and I was hungry for an authentic gyro, and this restaurant was excellent. I normally order chicken but they only had pork. I'm very happy I tried it. The taste of the pork and pita were awesome. The French fries that accompanied it were hot and delicious. My husband also sampled the tomato hummus. Yum. I understand this is one of the oldest restaurants in Corfu and I love the legend about the black cat. I highly recommend stopping and having a pork gyro with French fries.
