Uncle Wang Dumplings Amsterdam

We tried a wide selection of dumplings, which were very good and reasonably priced compared to other similar restaurants in Amsterdam. The restaurant is small and not particularly well decorated inside, but it's perfect for a quick lunch or dinner. Worth trying

Best Bánh Mỳ that I have eaten in The Netherlands. You definitely should try the Special one. The homemade paté is fantastic. We also tried the Wonton noddles soup. Amazing. Huge portion, great price and the owners are very friendly and lovely. We will surely come back ❤️

I came here for the banh mi but was told chef has been away for weeks so no banh mis (??). First red flag. Okay, I then proceeded to order a promotion set of noodles and shrimp dumplings. The shrimp dumplings were okay but the noodles were inedible. The dumplings that came with the noodles were somehow both undercooked and overcooked at the same time?? Soup was okay but lukewarm, noodles texture was a nightmare in a bowl. I hate wasting food but could not bring myself to finish this meal. I was very excited to come here due to all the positive reviews, but the experience literally scarred me.

Absolutely amazing spot for lunch. The special bahnmi was exceptional, and the xiaolong bao dumplings were pretty darn good too. The cook was super friendly and taught us some history and culture about bahnmi too. Strong recommend!

Visiting Amsterdam and staying in a nearby hotel - we were looking for a place close by away from the hustle and bustle. The first night we came here they were nearly sold out of everything - which most people would have been sad about but that is a testament to how DELICIOUS this place is! We came back two days later and the owner remembered us. We had great conversation with the owners - fantastic people who create a friendly atmosphere. The Bahn Mi was superb. Everything made fresh. We were here for a week and it’s our most memorable experience! Above and beyond.
