Wow! The food here was wonderful, plenty of gluten free options and the gluten free bread was delicious. The staff were brilliant, attentive and helpful. I would highly recommend having a visit. Fast service, no waiting and it's a really nice place to sit. I would definitely come back when we visit Amsterdam again.

This restaurant is absolutely awesome! Very friendly service, great place where you feel at home. Really delicious food. Honestly, the fish (grilled sea bass and the grilled salmon) with the side dishes was the best fish I've ever eaten. Really tasty! Absolutely recommendable! You must eat at this restaurant if you visit Amsterdam!

I was traveling in Amsterdam when I stumbled upon Restaurant Olijfje. Honestly felt like I’d found a hidden gem! The food was absolutely delicious and so flavorful, every bite was a delight. I loved that their meat is halal, which made dining here even better for me. The service was fast and friendly, making me feel truly welcomed. Sitting on the patio in the sunshine while enjoying my meal was the perfect way to spend the afternoon. Some kids rode by on their bikes, saying hi, which added a warm, local vibe to the experience. The portion size was just right, and my food arrived hot and fresh. To top it all off, they surprised me with a free dessert, which I really appreciated. The quality of the food was very high, definitely a place I’d recommend!

No reservations and met the owner. He was kind enough to make a table work for us. He also took our order and brought us some extras. Great vibe and great food clearly driven by a great owner.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Olijfje ! Everything was so perfect that we came out of this restaurant completely stunned ! The service was lightning fast while being extremely kind and professional, we never had to ask for anything because the waiters (and the owner) were very proactive. They were also totally opened to accommodate our plate to our liking (thanks you for that). It's by far the best customer service I've ever seen in my life ! The food was absolutely delicious, very well seasoned (I didn't need to add salt to the food, which is very rare) and cooked. I didn't know food could be this tasty and the texture this great ! We were also able to have as many bread as needed to eat with our hummus and tzatziki, which is rare enough to be noted. I must also thanks the owner for the complimentary starters, water and baklava (which were delicious too by the way), this was very kind and thoughtful of you :) I do recommend eating there if you go to Amsterdam. In fact, this place is a MUST go because I can assure you that you'll have a very good time and you'll leave full (without feeling bloated) ! I'll personally recommend this place to everyone in my social circle without a doubt. PS : This place doesn't ask you for any tips at the end, the owner even refuses them! But we still insisted on doing one because we really had a great time and it felt greatly deserved !
