Madam Pancake - Breakfast - Brunch - Lunch

Came to try this place based on good reviews, unfortunately it was quite disappointing. Pancakes are okay, not the best like people rage about. Pimped out mine with scrambled Eggs which were flavorless and watery. I wouldn’t recommend this place as a breakfast spot, it’s more like a dessert place. The syrup is very different more like sweet sauce type syrup. Pancakes are thick and fluffy and were a little dry. If you’re hungry and want a fulfilling breakfast I’d suggest going elsewhere. But if you’re looking to satisfy your sweet tooth this is a great spot. Hot chocolate and cappuccino were good though!

The Eggs Benedict pancakes were amazing. The hollandaise sauce was salty and perfectly seasoned. I couldn't get enough of them. And the service was first class. Super friendly as soon as we walked through the door. Thank you for making our first breakfast in Amsterdam so cosy and perfect 🙌

I decided to try this place because it had great reviews. There were quite a lot of customers that day. I ordered the fruit pancakes. Although the portion didn’t look big, it was actually quite filling. However, the toppings and pancakes didn’t really blend together—it felt more like the fruit, syrup, and pancakes were separate from each other. There wasn’t any surprising flavor. If you have to wait in line, it’s probably not worth a special visit. Also, the amount of syrup was a not enough, so the pancakes tasted a little dry.

Absolutely loved our visit to Madam Pancake in Amsterdam Centrum! The pancakes here are seriously next level — super fluffy, stacked high, and available in both sweet and savoury combos. One of our favorites was the Mr. Scramble with scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, and sour cream. So satisfying and honestly perfect even for dinner! I also had the pancake platter, which was such a fun option. I love variety, and being able to build my own mini pancakes was both delicious and super enjoyable. If you’re looking for something lighter, the açai bowl was fresh, beautifully presented, and packed with tasty toppings. The vibe is cozy and trendy, and it’s right in the heart of the city, which makes it a great stop during a day out exploring Amsterdam. Highly recommend for pancake lovers or anyone looking for a fun and tasty brunch spot!

Delicious food, generous portions, and carefully prepared. The staff is very very very kind and welcoming, always smiling and helpful. The place is truly charming and well-kept, located in a pleasant area that's also easy to explore on foot. The relaxed and pleasant atmosphere is perfect for a tasty break. Highly recommended!
