⭐☆☆☆☆ Customer Service: 1 Star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Food: 5 Stars We recently visited The Lobby Nesplein with two separate bookings for two different teams of friends. Although we arrived together, our reservations were completely separate, and we never asked to combine the tables. Unfortunately, the way we were treated at the entrance was very disappointing. The hostess told us in a rather rude tone that we were “fooling” the restaurant and that next time we should make “a full booking instead of scamming them,” which was shocking and completely uncalled for. We explained politely that we simply had two bookings, two tables, and were not asking for any special accommodations. The restaurant was not even full at the time, yet we were made to feel unwelcome. This interaction left a very negative impression about their customer service. Hospitality is about making guests feel comfortable, not accused. That being said, the food was absolutely fantastic—easily 5 out of 5. Every dish was prepared beautifully and tasted amazing. Compliments to the kitchen team for delivering such high quality. If only the service matched the excellence of the food, this would have been a perfect experience.

I celebrated my boyfriend’s birthday here, and it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. The two lovely ladies coordinated the surprise birthday wish and candles on the crème brûlée exactly as I had asked before dinner. They were incredibly sweet and helpful, truly the best service you could ask for. The food was also great, I’ve been here four times already and have never been disappointed. The atmosphere is always lovely. Honestly, it’s a 100/10 for everything combined.

This place has cool vibes written all over it. From the moment you walk in, the design grabs your attention—think warm lighting, stylish decor, and just the right amount of buzz in the air. It’s the kind of spot where you could spend hours without realizing it. And the food? Delicious. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and made with care. But let’s talk about the real star: the blueberry pancakes. They’re fluffy, packed with juicy berries, and just the right balance of sweet and tangy. If you order one thing, make it those. Great atmosphere, amazing food—this place is a must-visit.

The food was really lovely! We've been for both dinner and lunch and the menu is delicious, although the lunch service is a bit more slow, but nothing too serious. The wine list was quite impressive and they have a mean steak tartare.

before anything else: you MUST book your spot at least a week in advance or you may very well be disappointed. everything was beyond delicious. rich but not overpowering, well balanced, snazzy but cozy atmosphere. the server was very friendly and shared some context for the meal with us.
