We had breakfast and each plate was delicious. We tried artichoke melt, simit and salmon avo. Portions were big and combined with salad. Place is nicely decorated and has multiple details to have a look. We liked it overall.
The brioche salmon dish was really good but I was slightly disappointed by the potion, so I wasn’t really filled. I wish the taste packed a bit more of a stronger taste/punch. Was seated on the terrace outside and got to soak some sun, which was nice (but beware the gracht is very busy with many cars and passersby)
We wanted something dutch specific and we got it but it was not very appreciated by the kids. The dessert was good, something specific and carrot cake. Also white wine was fine, Chardonnay dry. The place was a little tight, but this is the case for most of the restaurants in that area of Amsterdam.
Fun casual spot for good food and great people watching. Our server made us feel like we were her only patrons. Definitely recommend!
Good, service, ambience, music was amazing. Initially service was a little slow to get a beverage but overall we were very pleased. The Dutch experience platter was a great meal for hubby and I to share, 13 shareable samples of Dutch food! Perfect! Potato salad and meatballs were my fav. Hubby enjoyed the mackerel and ice cream. Music from the 70s and 80s was playing, that was a peasant surprise!
