Bar Brasserie OCCO

A little gem in Amsterdam. Everything was perfect: the food, the service, and the beautiful setting; peaceful and far from the hustle and bustle of the city. Prices are also very reasonable. I especially enjoyed having lunch outside in the lovely courtyard. The staff were incredibly attentive, and the menu is original. Highly recommended!

We went to have a drink with friends who were staying at the hotel. We waited over 20 minutes to get a menu, then another 30 to have our order taken. The garden didn’t seem busy at all and staff walked by regularly. Would have expected muchi better service given the quality of the hotel.

We had the High wine experience here,but a zero alcohol version, as I am pregnant. The food was interesting and tasty, as well as the drinks. The atmosphere is very warm and the staff is beyond any expectations!

Great service. Small menu with a vegetarian and vegan option. Chef also helped to tweak dishes. The ratatouille looks so impressive. Well cooked thin slices of aubergine and courgettes but sadly lacked flavour and seasoning. Ravioli was made with a vegan sauce (a lovely creamy texture) and tasty. An impressive bar and a nice setting. Great location.

Had couple of cocktails and nibbles there after dinner somewhere else. Nice ambiance, cosy, loved the drinks - the barmen made one specifically for me, it was delicious. Surprisingly good olives served with drinks. The service was a bit slow, but that seems to be typical for Amsterdam.
