Restaurant De Kade

De Kade is the place to go if you want to enjoy a really good wine selection and great food. I had a wonderful experience there—especially thanks to the staff. The woman who served our table (I don’t recall her name) was incredibly kind and fun. Everything was good, but the highlight for me was definitely the pork with carrot purée—it was truly amazing! The atmosphere is lovely. With nice weather, it’s a great opportunity to sit outside and enjoy the canal view. Prices are reasonable and reflect the quality of both the food and the service. The only downside was the size of the dessert, but I will definitely return!

A lovely restaurant serving quality food and drinks so different from other restaurants. Staff were very attentive and explained every dish contents. Definitely revisiting again!

Had an absolutely amazing lunch here; we ordered the shakshouka and the glazed pork belly on sourdough — both were truly delicious and the portions were just right. We also got two lovely glasses of the Riesling, served generously and well chilled. The interior is super cute and the staff are friendly. The only note was that the music was quite loud until someone (from the kitchen I assume?) came to turn it down, but we were also the only customers indoors so it’s understandable for the front-end staff to wish to enjoy their shift. Great experience overall, will definitely return the next time I’m in Den Haag !

Everything is so good. Food and wine are amazing. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We were hosting group dinner here and Thomas and Sigrid is super supportive. And price is reasonable.

Had a fantastic dinner at De Kade on a warm Sunday evening. Food was delicious and we even got recommended and served by the chef himself. Finding out about this place was like catching a rare pokemon.
