We enjoyed a wonderful dinner here and every single dish was spot on. The prawns in rich sauce, silky hummus with fresh bread, roasted peppers, and the yoghurt dip with nuts were all beautifully prepared. My absolute favorites were the seared coquilles with mushrooms and the roasted cauliflower with pomegranate and pine nuts – both packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The presentation of each plate is a feast for the eyes, and it’s clear the chef cooks with passion and attention to detail. The atmosphere in the restaurant is warm, stylish, and relaxed, making it the perfect place to take your time and enjoy good food. Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Highly recommended if you’re looking for delicious, creative dishes in a cozy setting. Proof Boutique is definitely a place I’ll be coming back to.
Proef Boutique is a great spot in The Hague for a unique dining experience. The menu is designed for sharing, with a variety of small plates and bites that allow you to tour the menu and try a little bit of everything. Our favorite is Roasted Cauliflower; Scallops; Whipped Goat cheese; and Pulled pork belly 😋
We ordered Greek sardines, Sticky pork belly, Pita Mediterranean chicken, and one bottle of Bergsig Chardonnay. All food was very delicious except pork belly. It was fantastic. Wine was a very good match with the food.
Simply spectacular. Food is simple, but well made. Let's go back to basics, use simple ingredients full of flavor. Make it nutritious and healthy. Together with a calm atmosphere and kind and flexible service. I would come here again every week if I could. We came for lunch and ordered, for three people, the shared dinner platter for two. The portion size was perfect. Prices are quite reasonable as well. They also have a variety of desserts.
The place is cozy, the food is delicious, and the person who prepares the dishes is super friendly. The blonde waitress—I’m not sure if she was having a bad day, to be honest—but she was really rude. I don’t think it’s fair to lower the rating because of this, since the place has everything to be perfect. But I do hope the owner pays attention to this, because service is everything, and you simply want to be treated well. Period.
