A really nice place to experience really unique food combinations in a quiet and pleasant atmosphere. A bit of a lesser known place but really nice for special occasions. We tried a starter and all the main dishes and everything tasted great. They also have sparkling tea which we really enjoyed and haven’t tried before. Would highly recommend if you want super unique flavour combinations in a non crowded setting with friendly service
Absolutely amazing food! We came across the restaurant quite randomly and honestly didn’t expect much but the food really blew us away. The duck was amazing, the plum sauce was so goodd, complementing the dish so well. I love how the chef cooks the lamb, absolutely perfect texture and I don’t know how you cook it (maybe sous vide Idk, please tell me how) but it was moist, hold all the flavor, and the texture is amazing. Love it!!! The dessert, I don’t remember the name but it was amazing too. It is a vegetable and we were so amazed how you can make a vegetable into a dessert (a damn good one). The wine is also very nice. Oh, let’s not forget about the waiter/bartender, he was attentive and very friendly. I love the vibe of the restaurant, homely and more like a neighborhood space with surprisingly amazing food. Highly recommend!!!
This is an absolute jewel on the small restaurant scene. Unpretentious & down to Earth - food was delightful for my closet food snob. We started with kooklhrabi paired with a fig & sheep cheese, followed by makreel with cherry tomatoes (do not skip the home made flatbread deliciousness), main course was for me koolvis with courgette & green peas in - I suspect- white wine sauce. The cherry on top was the dessert in the form of rhubarb fusion with meringue & griesmel. Every single course was fresh, joy for the eye & a real treat for tastebuds. Wine list doesn’t disappoint either - out with the ordinary, in with the niche like the bubbles from the Czech Republic (thank you!) & a rather nice Slovian Sauvignon Blanc. I absolutely will be back & if you feeling like trying something new, this is the place. Thank you for the nice service & compliments to the chef.
What a great place. The food was amazing and the staff is very friendly. The owner Thom welcomed us personally and all staff walked the extra mile to give us a wonderful evening. They have lots of vegetarian options, the flavors of the dishes are well balanced and it’s really high quality food. We felt very welcome and will definitely come back!! Thanks so much again, everyone!! 💜🫎
We really enjoyed our stay at this restaurant, we didn't know it yet. The atmosphere is friendly, chilled. The food and wine is great. I recommend this place for sure.
