Tucked away in the charming Zeehelden Quarter, Café Pomegranate turned out to be a delightful surprise. We indulged in the French Toast, Pancakes, and a Chai Latte—all of which were absolutely delicious and highly recommended. The portions were generous enough to justify a long, leisurely walk through the cozy neighborhood afterward (which I highly suggest). Despite the lunch rush that filled the place and created quite a bit of noise—something that made the atmosphere slightly less relaxing for my taste—the service remained impeccable. Friendly, efficient, and attentive. The lively buzz is just part of the café’s charm, and certainly no reason to skip it. Café Pomegranate is definitely worth a visit.
The pancakes were absolutely delicious, truly the best ever! They also looked beautiful ❤️. The matcha was great, but the strawberry flavor was only noticeable in the first sip. A bit more strawberry taste would make it even better.
I had such a great experience at this cafe! The coffee was absolutely delicious, the food was fresh and full of flavor, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The place was super clean and had a cozy, relaxing vibe. Definitely one of my favorite spots now — highly recommend!🤌🏼
We came here for brunch on a Saturday morning and had fortunately reserved in advance. As mentioned in other reviews, this is a cozy cafe which means that tables are pretty close and space is a bit tight but it didn't bother us. Food was tasty and portions were pretty big. Service at the beginning seemed to be quite business like and efficient but got friendlier as time went. My husband had the eggs benny with salmon with salmon and I decided to try the toast with halloumi, pumpkin, rucola and pesto, which was delicious. We tried the brownie too which was yum. Definitely worth visiting if you don't mind the tables being so close.
Enjoy a great breakfast with gluten free options! The pancakes with ricotta cheese, pistachio and red fruits were amazing! Even the toastie with ham and cheese was very nice with really good bread! I will certainly be back soon! The service was also very friendly and helpful!!!
