Restaurant Carmel Market

Just one word “wow” the restaurant interior was absolutely stunning! We were seated all the way in the back, in a terrace area that can be opened up in good weather or closed off when it’s not. Unfortunately, it was really chilly back there, and when I asked if we could move inside because I was feeling cold, I was told it wasn’t possible. So, I ended up dining in my jacket and scarf the whole evening, and I wasn’t the only one. Several other guests in the terrace area kept their coats on too. The food, however, was really good! We chose the “regular menu,” which let us try a nice variety of dishes. A great way to explore different flavors. Overall, the food and service were solid, but the cold terrace definitely took away from the experience a bit.

We had a great night/dinner there. Some of the mixtures are really surprisingly tasty and some like the tiger garnalen were not very exiting. The girl hoe cared about our table (Diana) was very warm and friendly and helped us with making choices. We had a good time and food

I would recommend others to eat here. We ordered the vegetarian menu, and it had so much flavour, and we both felt full afterwards, which isn't always the case with vegetarian meals/menus. The atmosphere is amazing. It feels like being in a foreign country when you're inside and the staff was really friendly. Overall, it was a lovely experience.

Beautiful restaurant with beautiful food. I was worried about the portion size but our waitress described it perfectly. She said expect about 70% of normal portion so for two people, 3 dishes would be good. We loved everything we ordered, but the cauliflower and tuna were definitely the winners!

I had an excellent meal at Carmel Market in Utrecht. The food was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. The atmosphere is lovely, especially the seating area in the greenhouse at the back, which makes the experience even more special. Highly recommended!
