I had the pleasure of dining at HELT VILT (Completely Wild), and it was truly an exceptional experience. The concept is unique — bringing together authentic Norwegian flavors with a creative twist. The focus on wild game and local ingredients really sets this place apart. The dishes were perfectly prepared, full of rich, bold flavors that highlight the quality of the ingredients. The presentation was rustic yet refined, matching the cozy and welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and took time to explain the dishes, adding a personal touch to the dining experience. If you’re looking for an authentic taste of Norway with a modern edge, HELT VILT is a must-visit. Highly recommended!
Grilled reindeer dish very good. Nice range of flavours. Highly recommend. Only sad part was we lost an umbrella here and whilst the staff were happy to talk to each other they were not willing to talk to new customers that sat at the table we did sit at in the restaurant. We move to the food courts as every person has to buy a dish.
I wanted to try something different and wine tfor the Artic Journey. It was my first day in Oslo so I was a bit surprised by the portion size but I enjoyed the dish and different steaks very much. The staff was friendly and attentive.
Fantastic spot in an upscale ‘food court’ (sorry, that really doesn’t reflect the range of eateries here) Friendly staff willing to help with suggestions, and drink pairings. You can eat in or take out and eat in the communal area. Had the wild game stew, which was fabulous. Succulent meat in a tasty sauce. They suggested some drinks, which were interesting. Finished with the chocolate cake that I didn’t need but glad I chose. Pricey but well worth it
The Arctic Journey was one of the best plates of food I’ve had in a long time! 10/10 Gluten-free moose burger was delicious! The Tapas was a unique and enjoyable taste exploration.
