The food was incredible: traditional Filipino flavors presented in such a fresh, modern way and every plate looked beautiful. The staff were friendly and attentive and the open kitchen was super fun to watch, you really feel part of the action while watching the chefs create each dish. Definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to try Filipino cuisine with a special twist! ✨

Super tasty 5-course meal, we LOVED pork with tortilla and ice cream. We don’t eat lamb so the restaurant changed our wishes with amazing beef. Also, the staff was SUPER patient and nice. Such a pleasant experience and we will def come back!

We have been to Kain twice and we love it. It is easy to book a place. It is located at the centrum and transport is easy. If you are planning to try the Filipino cuisine at Oslo, this place is a must-visit. We got the five course meal and wine and it does not disappoint! The flavours burst into your mouth with every bite. My husband and I loves all the dishes but our favourite is the Sisig. The portion is perfect, place is clean, and the service is top-notch.

Must try. Very good flavors with a modern twist on traditional Filipino cuisine. No spaghetti though
