The bread bowl was really filling! I ordered the SF bowl and it's really tasty. I should have ordered the baby bowl though as I wasn't able to finish it. The garlic fried was amazing, the star for me. If you love garlic you must try it.
A unique experience! The menu is simple—either go for the baby bread or the massive one—but both are delicious. The staff is kind and welcoming; we had a great chat with Vanessa, who was super friendly, and by the end, we even became friends! The atmosphere is cozy and charming, making it a perfect spot to hang out with friends for a casual and enjoyable evening. Highly recommend!
I applied for a job at this place and was invited for an interview, where I was offered a unpaid trial shift lasting three hours for training. During the shift, I performed all tasks flawlessly - slicing and stuffing bread, preparing French fries, mac & cheese, and lemonades. I was an ideal candidate based on my prestigious education, experience in hosptality, Norwegian language skills, stamina, and other qualifications. However, the next day, I received a rejection letter, without any explanation or feedback as to why I was not chosen. It became clear to me that their practice is to exploit people by making them work for free during these trial shifts, only to replace them with new candidates repeatedly. The food at this establishment appears better than it actually is. When I prepared the "First Price" macaroni, it was drowned in cheap sunflower oil, which is known to pose health risks. The overall food quality was very poor and all of the fillings are pre-made and not fresh in any sense. The oil in the fryer looked like it was never changed, resulting in a dark brown color and a strong burnt odor. The drinks were also low-quality - coffee came from capsules, the milk pitcher had visible dirt stains and was unwashed, and the lemonades were just a mix of cheap syrup, water, and ice. Even the cutlery had stains on it, when I asked a shift manager if its ok to serve dirty cutlery - she said that washing machine is broken and it doesn't clean properly but she doesn't care. Additionally, the workers did not speak a single word of Norwegian. I strongly discourage anyone from visiting this place if you value your health!
Saw it listed on a "best restaurants of Oslo" and was very happy. Got a SF Bowl with some Garlic fries and it was amazing. Extremely filling, but worth it. I would recommend eating the bread bowl along with the filling so you make the most of the flavour.
