Run, don’t walk, to Bacchus Vinhus. This restaurant is simply outstanding. They offered us a three course meal, but I believe you can also order off the menu. Their menu has a theme that changes bi-monthly. For our wine pairings, we chose a lovely 1988 white wine from the USSR, and a full bodied red from Mexico. Both were wonderful. . Our appetizers we chose were fried eggplant and honey, and the veal. Both were excellent. The eggplant sauce was so good, I wanted to lick the bowl! Our main course was lamb stew over mashed potatoes that was tender snd SO flavorful. Simply delicious. We finished our meals with poached pears in a port wine and a brown cheese sauce. Again, I wanted to lick the plate! This review wouldn’t be complete without mentioning the impeccable of the restaurant’s co-owner, Kabir. I have to say, I wish we lived here. This would be our favorite restaurant!
Genius rotating wine program and I love that you get to try two wines when you order one glass! Cozy vibes inside and a delicious varied menu that felt classic yet reinvented,
Bacchus offers a truly charming experience, a cut above the rest. The intimate setting and knowledgeable staff is a true delight. On top of that, the food and wine selection is very well curated, especially the charcuterie board! I would have gotten pictures but it was so good, it was devoured in mere minutes. P.S. They get bonus points for the comic in the restroom.
Great things come in tiny packages, and this restaurant is by no means an exception! We booked after seeing the food menu, and were pleasantly surprised upon arrival with a Wine card that knocked it out of the park! The amazing floor staff did a great job at being attentive while never being intrusive, and the food was sensational and filling. All in all great experience while still maintaining fairly good prices
Quirky wine bar and restaurant. Very small, reservations advised. Our salmon and steak tartare were excellent
