My friend and I shared the vegetarian platter which was really delicious! Some of the sauces have a decent amount of spice which we liked and it was nice to get different foods to eat from. The restaurant owner was very friendly and well informed about allergens (one of us is glutenfree). She also brought us warm and damp towels to clean our hands which was really nice after a day outside! The atmosphere was also nice and calm so we definitely recommend this local business!

I am very picky and dont even write reviews on 99% of places I visit, but this Kirchat mix was so delicious that I had to!! Will come back if I ever come to Bergen again! Thanks!

Fantastic meal! We had the 6 dish sharing platter between two people and it was absolutely delicious! So great to support a brilliant independent restaurant! Just to be clear - you only eat with your hands! There’s no cutlery offered and we don’t want anyone giving an underserved lower rating because they didn’t know this beforehand!

Got there at 10:25 pm and she still served us. The flavors were great. Rate this place higher than the other Ethiopian place we tried in Bergen. The veggies had so much flavor, clearly not a forgotten side item. Tried to make it back but realize they open at 5 everyday and we were too early.

Delicious food. Don’t be in a hurry. This place is run by just one person. If you are a patient and thoughtful eater you will enjoy your food. We recommend the vegetarian for two. Pictured is that plus a meat for you and a chicken stew. This was plenty for two.
